CCP Showdown & Releaseparty

For the first time in Poland, Complete Control Productions shows off a part of their repertoir in the form of a CCP Showdown & releaseparty for their latest signed band Guilt Trip and their new album "Feed the Fire".

Special guests for the evening are Polish Synchropath from Wrocław.

There will be a mix of Swedish and Polish DJ's performing this evening as well, and with some luck the Guilt Trip will play some of their favourites during a late hour.

Concerts start at 22:00

  • Guilt Trip

"We are Guilt Trip. We exist in the in between as existence is relative. We destroy to create, oppose to liberate and sodomize to not be victimized. We are the splinter in our brother's and sister's eye. We spit in the face of "truth", "reality" and authority. Deconstruct, revaluate, resist, react and expand. Guilt Trip is beyond good and evil. Pretentious? Yes, but for a reason, so open the blood gates and pack your bags. We're going on a Guilt Trip."

Guilt Trip was born out of the ashes of electronic maurauder Chirurgie Esthetique, stalwarts of Sweden's industrial scene who were active throughout the nineties. Fuelled by dissent and incisive observations of mankind's less enticing traits, Guilt Trip have little time for posturing and prefer to go straight for the listener's jugular. Despite being influenced by what post- industrial aficionados term the "Vancouver sound", shaped by precursors such as Numb and Skinny Puppy, Guilt Trip have established an identity all of their own over the course of their three previous albums. The twelve tracks on Feed the Fire push the point further with their maelstrom of intricate, aggressive electronics and searing vocals.

  • The Pain Machinery

Having experimented with synths, samplers and drum machines since the late 1980's, Anders Karlsson released his first work as The Pain Machinery in 1992. The initial idea was to mix the raw energy of UK street punk and the cold precision of electro/industrial music. Later joined by vocalist Jonas Hedberg, The Pain Machinery has continued to expand on their original formula through the years. The band, frequently described as the missing link between punk, house and Electronic Body Music, has gained a lasting reputation for their intense and physical live shows around Europe. Their latest album "Surveillance Culture" recived excellent reviews from all over Europe and N America.

  • Severe Illusion

From the barren landscapes of northern Europe, an angry pop band with serious attitude problems emerged at the turn of the new millennium. They called themselves Severe Illusion. Clearly influenced by no one in particular, the band set out on an ambitious mission to destroy all trends in the contemporary electronic music scene.

The years that followed saw the band playing live shows across Europe and releasing a number of albums, EP's, and even a split 12" vinyl thing together with The Pain Machinery. At one point in time, and to their own confusion, they even caught the first position in the Nordic Alternative Charts. Both members also collaborated on various other projects and released albums under the names Instans and Vanvard.

Then there was nothing. Or, at least, not as much as before.

In 2011, the band made a massive comeback on Complete Control Productions. The album 'No More Alive Than You Deserve' was released in September and followed by live shows in Europe and South America. They are currently working on their fifth full length album, due for release during the later part of 2012. More live shows across Europe are also under way.

  • SYNCHROPATH (PL)
Synchropath is an electro-industrial project founded by composer and vokalist Qbz.

After several changes in their line-up the band now works solidly as a studio/stage trio since 2011.

In their portfolio we find their mini-album "Distance Hurts The Numb Ones". Songs from the release can be found on the british label Dark Mourning Promotion under the title "Pulse" & "Mecha[nized]" as well as on the compilations "Halotan Sounds 1.0" & "Synthematika Two".

The band performs in Poland as well as internationally and has performed together with such acts as Closterkeller and Fading Colours. They have also been seen performing at Castle Party 2011 and are booked for Castle Party 2012 as well. The band is in the process of finishing up their latest single named "Long-term Isolation" which will be followed up by a full-length album.
