Bobby Previte - is a composer/performer whose work explores the nexus between composed and improvised music. Previte is the 2015 Greenfield Prize winner for Composition, as well as a 2012 Guggenheim Fellow. He is one of the seminal figures of the 80s New York “Downtown” scene. His music has been labeled as “utterly original,” by the New York Times, while The New Yorker says his ensembles “speak in visionary tongues,” and the Village Voice calls him “a serious composer with the heart of a roadhouse rocker.” Previteʼs compositions have been recorded and released on Sony, Elektra, Rykodisc, Palmetto, New World, Ropeadope, and Thirsty Ear, and his newest double LP set, ʻTERMINALSʼ has just been released on  Cantaloupe Music. Leading a plethora of diverse ensembles from his instrument, the drums, he has collaborated with many of the leading lights in and beyond the world of music – from master composer John Adams to rock icon Tom Waits to the legendary filmmaker Robert Altman.

Michael Kammers - bandleader, composer and multi-instrumentalist Michael Kammers has been a creative force in the Brooklyn underground music scene since his arrival there in 2001.  Active as a leader and sideman in a wide variety of contexts, Kammers has worked with groups as diverse as freak folkers Akron/Family, dub reggae heavyweights The Easy Star Allstars, Fela devotees Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra, film legend Melvin Van Peebles, perennially touring jammers The Heavy Pets, The Funk Ark, and Bobby Previte's Voodoo Orchestra North, to name but a few. He channels his wide ranging musical experience into his 15 piece Space Funk Big Band, The MK Groove Orchestra. The orchestra performs regularly in a wide variety of NYC venues that reflect the bands range and abilities and is a Ropeadope Records recording artist.

Mike Gamble - is an adventurous guitarist and multi-instrumentalist whose work with electronic modes of composition are integrated endlessly into his setup. Gamble has spent the last 15 years immersed in the creative jazz, experimental rock and improvised music scene primarily in NYC, with close ties to New Orleans, Burlington, Boston, San Francisco and the Pacific Northwest. He has had the pleasure of recording over 20 albums and touring the states, Canada, and Europe with his critically-acclaimed guitar trio The Inbetweens, Counter Record’s Cougar, and alongside doom-metal originators Earth. His more recent collaborators have been legendary drummer Bobby Previte, bassist Todd Sickafoose, guitar virtuoso Nels Cline, and PNW cellist Lori Goldston. Since relocating to Portland Mike has been running a monthly Audio/Visual series featuring local and touring artists, encouraging them to play rare solo, duo, and trio sets with his own audio-reactive projection setup. Among working on soundtracks, web-series, and branded content for small businesses, Gamble currently holds a position as an Audio Production instructor at Oregon State University. Terence Murren - is a string bassist and electric bassist who cannot resist guitars or analog synthesizers.  He studied music composition at Vassar with Annea Lockwood and later with Myra Melford.  His string bass teachers include Susan Powell, Drew Gress and Steve Neil. In addition to being a founding member of the indie rock band Relations, Murren performs with drummer/composer Bobby Previte both in his Visitors band and in the Voodoo Orchestra North.  He has played with Butch Morris, Billy Bang, Tomas Fujiwara, Mike Gamble, Matt Bauder and Otto Hauser.  Murren is based in New York City and can be heard performing regularly in the Hudson Valley.
