Voice emission ∙ weekend workshop in English

We invite you to the workshop of voice emission in English.

It is a workshop on the basics of voice emission for anyone who would like to learn more about the possibilities of their natural instrument. This knowledge will be useful both in speech and in singing.

We will:

∙ sharpen listening,

∙ relax,

∙ move a lot and build consciousness of the body in terms of phonation,

∙ deepen the breath,

∙ learn how to distribute air efficiently and healthily,

∙ practice basic vocal tools such as volume, pitch and timbre,

∙ explore the communicative aspect of the voice,

∙ act in groups,

∙ stimulate creativity,

∙ play with the sound.

This workshop aims to create a solid base for working with the voice – to produce a pleasant and good-quality sound, on the basis of which you can expand your vocal expression to any form.

The classes are for adults (min. age is 16) who are interested in working on the voice. The workshop is conducted in a manner that is open to the needs of the participants.

Saturday 14:00 – 16:30; 17:30 – 20:00

Sunday 10:00 – 12:30; 13:30 – 16:00

The application becomes binding for us after receiving the payment, which must be made no later than 3 working days after application, and the confirmation of the transfer should be sent to our e-mail address (pracanadglosem@gmail.com). You can resign from the workshop at least 7 days before its start – then please provide the data for the return transfer. The price does not include accommodation or meals.

Leader:

Piotr Filonowicz – created and runs the theater workshops of the Academy of Arts and Culture. He is a graduate of the Theater Academy. He organizes ethnomusicological trips and conducts voice opening classes. He has participated in numerous theater workshops (e.g. under the direction of Eugenio Barba, Thomas Richards). Piotr Filonowicz is also the author of scripts realized in the theater. He published essays on Rilke, Proust, Schulz, Wyspiański.

Other informations:

We exercise in a comfortable outfit and soft footwear to ensure freedom of movement.

The classes should be attended 15 minutes before their scheduled start. After classes, we clean the space together.
