MOON PiLOT's (GB)- Michal Sapir is a female singer/guitarist who writes and performs idiosyncratic post-punk songs. Formerly lead singer and bass player/guitarist in the bands Baby Tooth (NYC) and Zero Balancer (London), Michal takes her songs back to their raw, exposed and solitary origins. Her gritty and emotional music bears the influence of the Smiths, Joy Division, My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth, if they all signed up to the hand-held aesthetics of "Dogme '95" and stripped their songs to only voice and electric guitar.

Based in London, MOON PiLOT has played at the Betsey Trotwood, RoTa, the Buffalo Bar, 12 Bar Club and the Bull & Gate, as well as performing at Betsey's Salon of Interdisciplinary Arts which Michal co-runs in Clerkenwell, London.

MOON PiLOT's introverted, barbed and open-ended music aims to touch your skin, mind and heart: "The songs bloom slowly, but spectacularly, like prize carnations... and are so packed full of dreamy hooks it hurts to hear" (CMJ New Music Monthly).
