Summer Ceramics and fusing glass workshops at Atelier Kreacja

Welcome to the Land of extinct Volcanoes - to a small, cozy village called Gorzanowice, located 3 km from Bolków and 1 h from Wroclaw. In a beautiful scenery, above the roofs of the medieval Castle in Bolków on the Kaczawskie Foothills. Near the Buki Sudeckie Nature Reserve and the Chełmy Landscape Park, there is an atmospheric place where we organize meetings with ceramics and glass. Atelier Kreacja invites you to a 7-day ceramics and glass workshop in the summer.

Program

Meeting with us is a great idea for a holiday vacation for anyone who is interested in arts & crafts and wants to create or develop creative skills. It is also a holiday for those who dream of changing their way of life, looking for a rest and inspiration.

Surrounded by beautiful nature, we offer you peace and relaxation combined with learning how to make clay by hand, rolling on a potter's wheel, basics of fusing and decorating glass. The studio is equipped with professional equipment: 3 ceramic furnaces/kilns (2 outdoor), a fusing furnace/kiln, an electric potter's wheel, clay & glass tools/materials supporting the work of every artist.

Ceramic works will be fired in the open-air kiln at the end of the stay. This will be an effective firing referring to the Japanese Raku technique. It is also possible to fire the work in an electric kiln. We will fire glass works in an electric kiln for fusing. Each participant receives his / her own works.
