MAŁGORZATA SKORUPA jest absolwentką Akademii Muzycznej im. S. Moniuszki w Gdańsku w klasie skrzypiec prof. Henryka Keszkowskiego. Doskonaliła swoje umiejętności na kursach wykonawczych w Austrii, we Włoszech i na Węgrzech. Współpracowała z gdańskimi zespołami orkiestrowymi, a szczególnie z Operą Bałtycką, gdzie w sezonie 1991/92 pełniła funkcję koncertmistrza. Obecnie pracuje na stanowisku profesora w macierzystej uczelni, w Ogólnokształcącej Szkole Muzycznej I i II stopnia w Gdańsku, a także w Szkole Muzycznej II stopnia w Gdyni. Jej uczniowie i studenci wielokrotnie zdobywali laury na konkursach krajowych i zagranicznych. Występuje jako solistka i kameralistka. Dokonała licznych prawykonań dzieł polskich kompozytorów. Posiada szeroki repertuar obejmujący oprócz standardowych dzieł na skrzypce solo oraz skrzypce i fortepian także bogatą twórczość współczesnych kompozytorów. Od 2006 roku dołączyła do Duo Sopot (Anna Sawicka – wiolonczela, Elżbieta Rosińska – akordeon) tworząc Trio Sopot.

MAŁGORZATA SKORUPA is a professor in Gdańsk Music Academy and in Secondary Music School in Gdańsk. Her pupils were repeatedly prizewinners of violin competitions. Małgorzata Skorupa gives concerts both as a soloist or member of chamber ensemble. She has given first performances of compositions written by modern composers. She have very universal repertoire (from baroque to the present day). She also cooperates with many symphony and chamber orchestras.

MAŁGORZATA SKORUPA absolvierte Danziger Stanislaw-Moniuszko-Musikhochschule in der Geigenklasse von Prof. Henryk Keszkowski. Sie vervollkommnete ihre Fähigkeiten während der Interpretationskurse in Österreich, Italien und Ungarn. Skorupa arbeitete mit diversen Danziger Ensembles u.a. mit dem Ostsee-Opernhaus, in dem sie 1991/92 als Konzertmeisterin tätig war. Zur Zeit arbeitet sie als Professorin an der Danziger Musikhochschule sowie an der Musikschulen des I. und II. Grades in Danzig und in Gdingen. Ihre Schüler und Studenten wurden mehrmals mit verschiedenen Preisen ausgezeichnet. Sie tritt als Solistin und Kammermusikerin auf. Zahlreiche Werke der polnischen Komponisten wurden von ihr uraufgeführt. Ihr breites Repertoire umfasst sowohl Standartwerke für Violine solo und für Violine und Klavier, als auch zahlreiche Werk der gegenwärtigen Komponisten. Seit 2006 spielt sie in einem Ensemble „Trio Sopot“ zusammen mit Anna Sawicka (Cello) und Elżbieta Rosińska (Akkordeon).

BOGUSŁAW GRABOWSKI, ur. 1955 r. w Sopocie, organista i kompozytor. Profesor zwyczajny Akademii Muzycznej w Gdańsku, gdzie prowadzi klasę organów i improwizacji. Wykłada także na innych uczelniach o profilu teologicznym. Od 1985 główny organista Konkatedralnej Bazyliki Mariackiej w Gdańsku. Animator życia muzycznego w Gdańsku i na Pomorzu, gdzie zorganizował ponad 600 koncertów w ramach międzynarodowych festiwali i cykli koncertów. Dyrektor Międzynarodowego Festiwalu Muzyki Organowej, Chóralnej i Kameralnej w Gdańsku. Koncertuje w Polsce niemal we wszystkich ważniejszych ośrodkach oraz w Niemczech, Anglii, Danii, Francji, Belgii, Holandii, Szwajcarii, Szwecji, USA, również na Ukrainie, Białorusi, Łotwie i w Rosji. Nagrał kilkanaście płyt m in. z muzyką organową /Polska Niemcy, USA/, a także z własnymi kompozycjami z udziałem chórów i orkiestry symfonicznej oraz improwizacjami. Specjalista z zakresie projektowania, budowy oraz konserwacji organów. Za swoją działalność otrzymał szereg nagród i wyróżnień.

BOGUSŁAW GRABOWSKI was born 1955 in Sopot. He studied music at the Warsaw Music Academy in the organ classes taught by Prof. Joachim Grubich and graduated in 1982. The year before, he attended the International Master Class in Organ Music Interpretation given by Floor Peeters in Belgium. In 1985 he assumed the position of main organist at St. Mary's Basilica in Gdańsk. He also started teaching at Gdańsk Music Academy where he now holds a professorship and gives organ classes. From 2003 he also holds Church Music classes, a newly founded study programme at the Academy. In addition he gives classes at the Gdańsk Institute of Theology, which is a subsidiary of the Lublin Catholic University. He has performed concerts in almost all major Polish venues and his concert activities have taken him to Germany, France, England, Belgium, Switzerland, Holland, Danmark, Sweden and USA as well as Ukraine, Latvia and Russia. He has performed recordings for radio and television in Poland, Germany, Sweden and Ukraine, and has 11 recordings to his credit which were released on MC and CD. Recently he is increasingly composing music mainly for vocals, organ and choir, but also for symphony orchestra.

On 15 August 1997 the premier performance of his symphonic song “Ave Maria” for soprano, choir and symphony orchestra was welcomed with success. The work was written for the 1,000th anniversary of the city of Gdańsk and received a nomination for the Pomeranian Music Award of 1997. Since 1978 he has untiringly organized over 500 concerts with the participation of some of the best organists, chamber musicians, choirs and orchestras from Poland, Europe, North and South America, Australia, and Japan. He is organiser and inventor of recital cycles such as the Dominican Concerts [Dominikańskie Koncerty], St. Mary Organ Evenings [Mariackie Wieczory Organowe], Musica Sacra, and Music of Sacral Spaces [Muzyka Przestrzeni Sakralnej]. He has also organised concerts in Rumia, Pelplin, Kartuzy, and was co-organiser of the Gdynia Organ Concerts [Gdyńskie Koncerty Organowe] at the Sacred Heart of Lord of Jesus Church in Gdynia. In 1990 he founded the Gdańsk Organ Centre [Gdańskie Centrum Organowe] at the Voivodeship Culture Centre, later the Baltic Culture Centre, which aims at promoting ancient and modern music in sacral buildings. The centrepieces of these musical events are the concerts of the International Festival of Organ, Choir and Chamber Music organised in monumental sacral buildings in Pomerania.

BOGUSŁAW GRABOWSKI (geb. 1955 in Zoppot) – Organist und Komponist; ordentlicher Professor an der Danziger Musikhochschule, an der er eine Orgel- und Orgelimprovisationsklasse leitet; auch als Dozent an einigen theologischen Hochschulen tätig. Er leistet einen ansehnlichen Beitrag zum kulturellen Leben in Danzig und Region, indem er bereits über 600 verschiedene Konzerte veranstaltete. B. Grabowski ist auch Direktor des Internationales Orgel-, Chor- und Kammermusikfestivals in Danzig. Er gibt Konzerte an fast allen bedeutenden kulturellen Zentren in Polen sowie in Deutschland, England, Dänemark, Frankreich, Belgien, Holland, in der Schweiz und in den USA sowie in der Ukraine, in Weißrussland, Lettland und Russland. Er spielte etliche CD mit Orgelmusik (in Polen, Deutschland, in den USA) und auch mit eigenen Improvisationen sowie mit seinen eigenen Werken unter Anteilnahme von Chören und einer symphonischen Orchester ein. Bogusław Grabowski ist auch als Spezialist für Orgelbau und –renovierung; für seine Tätigkeit bekam er zahlreiche Preise und Auszeichnungen.
